Only the most intelligent and talented young ladies qualify high for the glamorous and coveted job of brand ambassador in one of the most acclaimed fashion brands. Diane has eight young women handpicked and piece by piece they are determined to impress Diane while they go to work in various high fields of Diane's empire, in the fantastic DVF offices in the Meatpacking district of Manhattan. From planning a press lunch to work at the DVF Spring 2015 fashion show during Fashion Week, the ladies are expected to perform each task perfectly, but things do not always go as planned.
The stakes are high: the testing of your mood, fight the nerves, close friendships and rivalries. Jessica high Joffe (DVF's Style Editor) and Stefani Greenfield (DVF's SVP of Merchandising) guide the candidates through the difficult days and nights. Diane is also to coach the ladies, high determined and passionate to select the right young woman for the job. She observes, evaluates and gives them the opportunity to share openly about their lives and dreams in one-on-one conversations. She also does not mince her words when she feels that the ladies have not prepared, as a member of the DVF team should do. Diane believes that each of them has the potential to be the woman who they want to be.
