Already from Josephat Torner was an infant, his parents advised to poison him. Fortunately selected

My adventure in Tanzania D. 31 July 2013 I am going out as a volunteer through MS. I have to work in an orphanage and live with a local family in Tanzania - in a village just outside of Arusha. I will be away for four months, the first month of going along with my fellow passengers on a "platform" in Dar es Salaam Menu
In large parts of Central and East Africa live albinos as in local speech known as "ghosts" in constant fear. Superstition has overshadowed the morale and the white albinos are to this day still hunted, slaughtered and shouted at in the street by their black country men for their "precious" body parts. We've talked with Josephat Torner, an albino, who told us his story. OF NICOLAI especially NIELSEN AND KRISTINA Moestrup
The sun's sharp rays shining down on Ocean Road Cancer Institute white buildings while we sit in the shade and talk with Josephat Torner in Tanzania albinism especially Society (TAS). Josephat Torner looks like a typical African man with his flat, wide nose and big chapped lips, yet he differs from the ordinary Africans with his white skin, rødblonde hair, reddish eyes and thick glasses, revealing his myopia. Josephat Torner, especially campaign manager for TAS, is 34 and the albino. "Being white in a black continent is really unfortunate," said Josephat Torner. Albinism is a rare disease. Worldwide born on average an albino for every 20,000 'end individual - in Tanzania is likely to be born with a degree of albinism five times higher than in Denmark. In Africa believed the probability especially of being born with albinism to be only 1 to 5000. This has led to an estimate of the number of albinos in Tanzania to about to be 175,000. especially Determination of final figures for the number of albinos does not exist and may never exist. This is due to the stigma associated with the disorder. A stigma that often get families especially to hide their albino children to the world.
Already from Josephat Torner was an infant, his parents advised to poison him. Fortunately selected Josephat Törner parents to resist, but unfortunately that is not the case for many other families with albino children. It was believed that albionisme was a curse or an accident. Josephat Torner has throughout his childhood fighting for a confirmation from the outside world, to be accepted especially as an equal human being. Through this struggle, he had to lie ear to a constant whispers especially - people could find as they passed him, saying: "One does not really human passes."
Exclusion Many albino children today are forced to go to special boarding schools, in order to be safe from the outside world. It was not for Josephat Torner, who is the only albino especially in his village had no option especially other than to choose a regular public school. The school refused at first glance to teach Josephat Torner, especially because he was different - they feared him. If it were not for his mother, who insisted that he went to school, had Josephat Torner probably not been the place where he is today. He tried to play with the other children, but they ran away from him because they had been told that he was cursed. People believed that his illness infected. "I especially grew up with the understanding that the community was against me," said Josephat Torner with a quiet voice. The home was Josephat Törner especially situation is not much better. He grew up in a family of 33, of which he was the only albino. Uvidehed led to a lot of frustration especially in the family, and the parents were close to going apart. This is often seen if the mother gives birth to an albino child, as it goes beyond the family's honor. Josephat Torner were set to guard the cows of his parents at the age of 12 years. He stood out in the baking sun from early morning to late evening, which resulted in his delicate skin was burned. Josephat Torner adds, "I cried myself to sleep every night." He had no sunscreen on, because no one knew anything about albinos in the village. "The village was my world and the world was cruel to me," said Josephat Torner with a sad look in his eyes.
What is Albinism? Albinism is an inherited disease that are distinguished by the fact that albinos have little or no melanin pigment, which aims to protect the hair, skin and eyes. Albioner is typically myopic and incredibly light sensitive, and skin cancer is a common especially disorder. The skin cancer occurs if the albino has not protected properly with sunscreen and wearing sunglasses. It is therefore all the more aware of skin cancer and ulcers in albino, but the fact is still, unfortunately, that the average African albino not be more than 30 years. Many albino children are baptized discriminatory names that directly says that they are not wanted. Josephat Törner original name was, for example. Kuzeku which means laughter. He changed his name at age 15, after talking with a priest, who told him that God loved him, then J
